One of the things we’re most proud of at The Jordan Sinnott Foundation, is the fact we are in such a wonderful position of being able to help projects that we feel really passionate about. Nothing makes us happier!
Our grants are always shared between equally worthy causes and one of those we chose to help is Active Hope. A Christian charity, based in Warrington, Active Hope dedicates their time and efforts to providing high-quality, exciting outdoor opportunities for children aged between 8-14.
Active Hope is a unique project, focusing specifically on outdoor pursuits. This is something we feel overwhelmingly passionate about too, so we feel a great synergy with them. Not only do they believe being outdoors creates endless opportunities for children to stay fit and healthy, but they also create a huge emphasis on the skillset this helps to build. They also understand the intrinsic link between physical and mental health, creating enhanced well-being and self-esteem. We love to support this too!
With our recent support, the project aims to purchase sit-on-top kayaks to use within their future projects! This will open up so many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for the children who are part of the project. Not only will it provide lifelong memories, but will also immerse them in new environments, enabling them to learn new life skills and practical abilities when spending time in the great outdoors!
It’s never been more important to prioritise young people’s mental health. So, if our support enables Active Hope to continue to provide many more incredible opportunities to support children’s physical and mental health, we couldn’t be happier to help such a worthy cause.
We can’t wait to hear all about the many outdoor pursuits the project embarks upon!
