In honour of what would have been Jordan 30th birthday, the 30 Mile Challenge was launched, attracting 12 individual challengers alongside an event hosted by Matlock Town FC. At their grounds, participants collectively walked ten laps of the pitch, successfully covering the intended distance and raising a fantastic £280. A highlight of the event was the surprise participation of Jordan’s fiancée, Kelly and their daughter Maisie, adding a touching personal element to the occasion. A massive thank you to everyone who participated and to Matlock Town FC for their unwavering support.
A special mention to Sian Kennell who took her commitment to the next level, ambitiously covering 30 miles each week instead of monthly. Her exceptional effort and regular updates culminated in surpassing her ambitious goal. Similarly, Chloe Crooks, our Chair of Fundraising and Trustee, stood out by raising £330, the highest individual amount, demonstrating remarkable dedication and effort – well done Chloe!
The collective contributions from this challenge amounted to a total of £1,552, marking a huge success for our second fundraising event of the year. This success highlights the community’s spirit and generosity, which continue to drive the mission of The Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust forward.
We want to thank all the participants, supporters and donors who made this challenge a resounding success. Your commitment not only honours Jordan’s memory but also drives us toward our fundraising goals.
Your continued support and participation are invaluable to our cause and we encourage everyone to keep an eye out for our future and upcoming fundraising events!
