Young Joey shines at the World Karate Championships with support from the Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust
We are really happy to be able to share the remarkable journey of Joey, a young athlete we proudly sponsored to participate in the World Karate Championships held in Orlando. This sponsorship is part of our ongoing commitment to support young people in their pursuit of excellence and participation in sports.
Joey’s first experience at a world championship was nothing short of remarkable. Competing in both continuous and points sparring, Joey’s outstanding performance earned him a spot on the England teams for both continuous and points fights. His dedication and skill shone through, leading to impressive achievements on the global stage.
In the under-25 kilogram section, Joey secured a bronze medal for his continuous fights, showcasing his resilience and talent. His success didn’t stop there. Joey went on to clinch a gold medal in the team events for England in the points fight, a testament to his hard work and determination.
Joey has already set his sights on future goals, aiming to compete at the nationals in March. His ambition to earn a place at next year’s World Championships is clear, and he is likely to move up in both weight and age categories, reflecting his growth and commitment to the sport.
We want to extend our thanks to all our supporters. Your contributions make it possible for us to help young people like Joey achieve their dreams.
Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of many more young people, helping them realise their potential and succeed on the world stage. Thank you for being a part of Joey’s journey and the ongoing mission of the Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust.
