We had an amazing time at the Beighton Gala on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 spreading the word and fundraising for the JSFT! The weather was perfect, with no rain in sight, making it a great day for everyone.
Our stall was buzzing with activity. It was amazing to see so many people recognise our logo and stop by to learn more about what we do and our fundraising initiatives. We had a raffle, a silent auction and a fun game for both kids and adults. Chloé, our Chair of Fundraising, along with volunteer Catherine, did a fantastic job running the show. We were also thrilled to have a visit from Jordan’s fiancée, Kelly and their daughter, Maisie.
The raffle and auction were a big hit, thanks to the amazing prizes donated by local businesses. From exciting rides to other great items, there was something for everyone.
We’re super excited to announce that we raised £948.65! A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported us. Your help means the world and allows us to keep doing what we do best—helping underprivileged kids and young adults get involved in sports.
The day was filled with smiles, laughter and a true sense of community spirit. It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together for a great cause. The kids loved the games and the adults got quite competitive too! The atmosphere was electric, with everyone enjoying the fun.
We can’t wait for next year’s event. Let’s make it even bigger and better! Thanks again for all your support and for making the Beighton Gala 2024 a day to remember. See you next year!
