What a day we had at the Killamarsh Active Ladies’ first charity football tournament, held on June 30th, 2024, in support of the Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust (JSFT). This fantastic day was made even more special as Chloé, our Chair of Fundraising, who also plays for the Killamarsh Active Ladies team, led the event.
The atmosphere was fantastic as the JSFT banners and team gazebos set the stage for a day filled with spirited competition. The tournament kicked off with great energy, showcasing the community’s support and love for football.
After the tournament, Chloé delivered a speech, sharing the story and mission of the JSFT. Her words resonated with everyone present, earning a huge round of applause before the much-anticipated presentation ceremony.
Seven teams participated in the tournament, making for an exciting day of fantastic football, with plenty of goals scored. Every player went home with a medal proudly displaying the JSFT logo. The day ended with Killamarsh Active Ladies emerging as the champions, taking home the prestigious Jordan Sinnott Foundation Tournament Trophy.
We are proud to announce that the event raised a total of £1,140 for the JSFT. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and supported the event. We look forward to hosting more tournaments in the future to continue our mission and honour Jordan’s legacy.
